Eva Braun

Eva Braun worked as an assistant for a photographer named Heinrich Hoffman. Hoffman became Adolf Hitler's personal photographer and it was through him that Braun met Hitler. In the early 1930s, she and Hitler had a secret romance. Toward the end of World War II, she joined him in Berlin. The married on April 29, 1945. The next day, they committed suicide rather than falling to enemy troops.

She enjoyed outdoor activities and wasn't too interested in her studies. She attended a convent school and later went work as a bookkeeper and assistant for a photographer named Heinrich Hoffman. Hoffman became Adolf Hitler's personal photographer and it was through him that Braun met the notorious German leader.

In the early 1930s, Braun and Hitler became romantically involved, but they kept their relationship a secret. Few people knew about the couple. Toward the end of World War II, Braun could have left Hitler, but she instead decided to join him at his bunker in Berlin. In the final days of the war, Hitler and Braun contemplated killing themselves rather than fall into the hands of enemy troops.

For her show of loyalty, Hitler agreed to marry Braun. The couple wed on April 29, 1945. The next day, they committed suicide. Braun died from ingesting poison while Hitler shot himself.
