Princess Anne is the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. She is well known for her charitable works; she is a patron of over 200 organizations. She married Timothy Laurence (1955?? ) in 1992. An accomplished horsewoman, she has ridden in the British Equestrian Team, and was European cross-country champion (1972). She is a keen supporter of charities and overseas relief work; as president of Save the Children Fund she has travelled widely promoting its activities. Since 1988 she has been a member of the International Olympic Committee and is president of the British Olympic Association. Her daughter, Zara Phillips, won the European Eventing Championship in 2005.
